Lion calls for a boycott of all Hershey’s products - see list below.
Monopolies are supposed to be illegal! We try to teach our children not to bully others, so what is going on here, now? Corporations are doing it, great example. If you DO NOT approve of bullying do not buy Hershey’s chocolates or products.
From my point of view, “similar” is not the same as “same”, thus when one company BULLIES another company into not being able to sale their products here because their product is INFERIOR … you don’t deserve to be in business much less have mine!
Buy British Imports, or L.B.B., has been forced to stop importing all Cadbury’s chocolates; cream and caramel eggs, KitKat bars, Maltesers, and Toffee Crisps (because of their orange packaging, and yellow-lined brown script, too closely resemble Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups), as well as Yorkie chocolate bar’s name they claim is “too similar” to York Peppermint Patty, even though they are clearly not the same. Now if it was the same it would be an infringement, but “too similar” you are crossing the line Hershey!
Lion said, “Stop bulling others, you have no right! The only infringement happening here is on our rights to choose what we want to eat! If your product was up to par and you didn’t use “cheap” ingredients maybe we would like your candy too.
Taking away someone else’s licensing to manufacture or sale their product and then make your own “fake” imitation with “similar packaging” (which you complained of as if packaging mattered) will not make it the same product.
Chocolate from Britain has a higher fat content and the first ingredient is milk. Your first ingredient is sugar and you also include emulsifiers PGPR and soy lecithin, which reduce the viscosity of chocolate, just so it can have a longer shelf life. You would NOT NEED a longer shelf life if your product was not 2nd rate. So instead of learning the lesson and making a better product, you bully others out of the market. Gee thanks. No I will never buy anything else with Hershey’s name again! I will encourage others to do the same.
