It is imperative that you understand what you are saying and you say what mean, To do this you must understand that words themselves have meaning. Too often we interchange words thinking that they have the same meanings but they do not. Knowledge is true power, how you convey it is with words, thoughts and feelings. Be aware of what you do, say, and most importantly think.
Also, The Universe is not up on "slang talk", so don't use it.

As an example: Do not ask for  "a million bucks" unless you want a million male dear to cross your path.
Do not ask for "a break" unless you want something to break in a most inconvienient time.

After I teach why you this is so, I'll give you a short list of words that are often confused or used interchangeably but they are not one and the same.                 Quote from a “Wrinkle in time” “Alike and same are not the same.”

True Education - vs - Rote Memorization

The ability to be able to know how to think - vs - knowing what to think / being able to recite back what one is told to think.

         Why is this so important?

There really is a war going on, and it is for your mind, Always think, and always use your gift of free will choice NEVER go along to get along. Matthew 7:13-14 Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

In case you have missed the message before. Everything that is, is energy. Treasures are thoughts. Wide is the gate is social thinking. Narrow is the way as you thinking for yourself.

The truth is

Discussion

- vs -

Argument

In other words

IQ is good but common sense

is superior.

Knowledge without wisdom is nothing.

Knowledge comes from studying what others have done before us.

Wisdom comes with age and experiencing ones own mistakes and faults.

Knowledge is an archive of facts about reality that you have memorized, and hence, can assert whenever you want. It does not amount to true understanding of such facts, and it certainly says nothing about the harmony between your attitudes and behaviors and those learnt facts of reality.

True understanding comes when your behaviors in your day to day life are according to what you know. When you practice what you preach, and what you preach is in accordance to reality, you are said to be wise.

This implies being able to use your knowledge in a way that makes a difference to your concrete problems and relationships and really furthers your life. This is wisdom.

“To attain knowledge, add things everyday. To attain wisdom, remove things every day.” ― Lao Tzu

“Emotion without reason lets people walk all over you; reason without emotion is a mask for cruelty.” ― Nalini Singh, Archangel's Kiss

“If knowledge is not put into practice, it does not benefit one.” ― Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri

“Knowledge is power"? No. Knowledge on its own is nothing, but the application of useful knowledge, now that is powerful.” ― Rob Liano

“What grain of dust can be easier carried by your life’s emptiness wind than the knowledge?” ― Sorin Cerin, Wisdom Collection: The Book of Wisdom

“If you don't synthesize knowledge, scientific journals become spare-parts catalogues for machines that are never built.” ― Arthur R. Marshall

 Knowledge - vs - Beliefs

Frequently Jesus spoke in parables. The word parable is used a total of 50 times in the New Testament (13 times in Mark, 17 in Matthew, 18 in Luke, and twice in Hebrews, but never in John). It always refers to some type of “figure of speech” or “literary comparison”; sometimes the word “lesson” is also used (Mark 13:28; Matt 24:32), “proverb” (Luke 4:23), “symbol” (Heb 9:9), or “figuratively speaking” (Heb 11:19, all in the NRSV).

Frequently in response to parables Jesus was asked, “What does this mean?”

Jesus often said, “What do you think?”

Clearly the idea is to think for your self and not to “go along to get along with the masses.”
If you tell me, “Either you are with us or against us.” When it comes to bulling others, where do you think I am going to stand? Against you. I don’t care who “you” are. I know your game, parties are irrelevant.

We look forward to the time when the Power of Love will replace the Love of Power. Then will our world know the blessings of peace. - William Gladstone 1809-1898

So what do you think?

Spirituality - vs - Any Religion

It is only the tranquil mind that can allow for fair and clear judgments free of error. Gichin Funakoshi

For thousands of years, sages have taught us to look inside for the answers that we seek. We find this wisdom repeated throughout different cultures from the Native Americans to the earliest wisdom texts. Meditation or retreating to a space of solitary silence, has been used throughout the ages as a way to solve difficult problems and to deal with confusing situations. Silence quiets the mind and allows for clear thinking.

The opposite is also true. Chaos creates a mind full of stress, which causes indecision and confusion. In his classic book Karate-Do Kyohan, Gichin Funakoshi tells us that you can only think clearly and rationally if your mind is tranquil. Therefore it is vital that you learn to keep your mind calm, no matter what is happening around you. You must be able to think clearly in order to make rational decisions and sound judgments.

When panic sets in, your mind doesn’t function rationally. This is when mistakes are made. Practice keeping yourself calm despite what is happening. The man, who can remain calm while others are panicked, has a distinct advantage over those who have allowed panic to control their mind. This is why warriors throughout history have used fear as an effective form of warfare. Once their enemies allowed fear to enter their minds, their thinking became flawed and they were vulnerable. Knowing this, the warrior must take heed to keep his mind calm and tranquil, and not let the same ploy be played on him. ~Bohdi Sanders

Equality - vs - Justice

Equality - state of being equal, correspondence in quality, degree, value, rank or ability. Uniform character.
Justice - the quality of being just, righteousness, equitableness, or moral rightness, to uphold a just cause. Moral principle determining just conduct. Conformity to a principle, as manifested in conduct, just conduct, dealing or treatment. The administering of deserved punishment or reward
.

Experience - vs - Money

Or a "good job"

Children today try to grow up way too fast, things like “love” and marriage which they know nothing about and are far too important to them, but it can wait till they are older and more mature.
Never be in a rush to make a life long commitment. These things need to be grown, not rushed into.
Truth is we incarnate for the whole purpose of experiencing life. Since thoughts are our treasures, these experiences creates these treasures, thus experiences are far more valuable than money as it is the basis for self-education.
Do not worry about mistakes, for mistakes are cherished by God. He then knows you are trying. If you didn't make mistakes, it would prove you would already knew everything, then what would be the point in incarnating? The whole purpose is to learn and grow.

Trust God to take care of you, just as he cares for the birds in the air.

Dicipline - vs - Punishment

All are One

These two words are often interchanged as if they meant the same things, they do not.

The Universal rule is, it is okay to kill. It is NOT okay to commit murder.
There are two reasons to kill; self protection & to eat.
Anything and everything else is murder. Killing for sport be it man, beast or plant matter it is murder.

Cooperation – vs – Competition

Difficult - vs - Impossible

Difficult means you have to work for what you want.

Impossible means it can't be done.

There have been many things in my life that once I had quickly and easily done them, someone has told me, I thought that was impossible. No, you just gave up before you ever tried it. Clearly you didn't want it bad enough to make the attempot.

Kill - vs - Murder

Danger -vs- Fear

Pain - vs - Suffering

"Sharing a nice piece that I read recently...

"Once a group of 50 people was attending a seminar. Suddenly the speaker stopped and decided to do a group activity. He started giving each one a balloon. Each one was asked to write his/her name on it using a marker pen. Then all the balloons were collected and put in another room. Now these delegates were let in that room and asked to find the balloon which had their name written, within 5 minutes. Everyone was frantically searching for their name, colliding with each other, pushing around others and there was utter chaos. At the end of 5 minutes no one could find their own balloon. Now each one was asked to randomly collect a balloon and give it to the the person whose name was written on it. Within minutes everyone had their own balloon. The speaker began— Exactly this is happening in our lives. Everyone is frantically looking for happiness all around, not knowing where it is. Our happiness lies in the happiness of other people. Give them their happiness and you will get your own.
