What is so funny about praying? Praying isn’t about begging for what we WANT and certainly not for what we NEED.
Yes, God knows exactly what you have NEED of. You see there is a difference between what we NEED and what we often times think we WANT most, which quite frequently we don’t really want at all. So much so we often times refuse it when it is given to us.
Humans are funny creatures who often times stumble through life not really having a clue what they really WANT, much less what they NEED, they just know that they WANT something. So for what ever it is we think we WANT, that is what we pray for. God ALWAYS says, “Yes” to what ever we ask for even if, and quite frequently, we don’t really WANT it after all.
Rarely do we ever pray for, or show gratitude for, what we NEED that has been provided freely by God.
